A Google Docs™ and Slides™ add-on that curves your text into 11 shapes — circle, square, rectangle, triangle, arcs, heart, ellipse, wave, zigzag, and spiral — with a live preview as you type.
Word art tools usually mean leaving your document, using a separate website, and re-uploading an image. This one drops the result straight into your Doc or Slide, already sized right.
Features
- Circle, Square, Rectangle, Triangle, and both Arcs — free
- Heart, Ellipse, Wave, Zigzag, and Spiral — Premium
- Arial — free; Georgia, Times New Roman, Verdana, Impact, Comic Sans MS, and Courier New — Premium
- Three preset colors free, or a full custom color picker with Premium

- Manual control too — turn auto-fit off to set exact size and spacing yourself
- Repeat-to-fill toggle, so your text can loop around the whole shape automatically
- Adjustable shape size — radius, width and height, or wave amplitude
- Live preview as you adjust shape, font, size, and color
- High-resolution export that stays sharp even if you resize it larger later
- Download as a PNG, if you’d rather use it outside the document
- Works identically in both Google Docs™ and Google Slides™
How it works
Open any Google Doc or Slide, go to Extensions → Curved Text → Open, and the sidebar appears.
Type your text, pick a shape, and click Insert — it drops straight into your document at the right size.
Free to install and use. Premium unlocks every shape, font, and custom color for $5.99/year, handled through Gumroad — your license key is the only thing checked against Gumroad’s servers; your document content never leaves your Google account.
