Matrix Inserter for Docs™ is a free Google Docs™ add-on for inserting properly formatted matrices with real math notation—no equation editor or hand-drawn brackets needed.
Enter your numbers, choose from 10 bracket styles, preview your matrix live, and insert matrices from 2×2 to 12×12 directly into your document.
The add-on only needs permission to add content to the specific Google Doc you’re using. It never accesses other files or sends your document content outside Google Docs.

How it works
Open any Google Doc, go to Extensions → Matrix Inserter → Insert Matrix…, and the sidebar appears.
Pick your size and bracket style, type your numbers, and click Insert — it drops straight into your document at the right size.
Free to install and use. Premium unlocks bigger matrices, every bracket style, rich math notation, LaTeX and spreadsheet import, color highlighting, and saved templates — for $9.99/year, handled through Gumroad.
Your license key is the only thing checked against Gumroad’s servers; your document content never leaves your Google account.
